help R heroes is working with the LA Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen's Fund on a major fund-raiser called the Hero Bears Project. It is our desire to raise more than $10,000.00 for the fund and to do so, we will be talking to hundreds of businesses and social clubs and participating in several events throughout the summer.

To help make this a great fund-raiser for our firefighter family, we would like to hire as many retired firemen as possible in what we call a paid-volunteer position where they help us talk in front of groups of potential supporters, "press the flesh" at events and spread the word about the Hero Bear program.

We would like to find the right retired firefighters for these positions. Your retired police are very aware of the Hero Bear fund-raisers and can tell you how good they have been over the years. With firefighters its even a better program to serve the needs of the Relief Associations. For your review,
